The only waterfront
restaurant on the Great Sacandaga Lake – Lanzi’s is successfully
run by three generations of the Lanzi Family.
A warm ambience greets diners as they enter the primary dining area
boasting high ceilings and natural wood with an outstanding vista
of the Great Sacandaga
Lake. The bank of dining room windows leads to an outdoor deck which
seats 135 guests – affording them all a spectacular view of the Sacandaga.
During
the summer, Lanzi’s on the Lake offers vacation diners direct
access to the water, affording them the opportunity to moor their boats
at the restaurant’s marina. Summer schedules includes such
events as a reggae festival, home-brewed chili cook off, and beach
parties
sponsored by local radio stations.
Enjoyment of the lake does not stop
after the summer months. What
better way to end a day of leaf peeping in the Adirondacks than to
have a
quiet cozy dinner in Lanzi’s dining room with its warm stone fireplace.
Lanzi’s central location can also be enjoyed by patrons after
cross country or alpine skiing at nearby resorts, ice fishing or
snowmobiling.
Lanzi’s has incorporated events of its own to enhance the enjoyment
of the winter months, including professional snowmobile races, winter volleyball,
and “frozen lake bakes” – outdoor clambakes amid
snow and ice.
An outstanding restaurant to
be enjoyed through all four seasons. Lanzi’s
on the Lake’s greatest testimony to its superb cuisine are its many
repeat guests. Visit Lanzi’s on the Lake for fine dining at
its best. Open 7 days a week, all tear round.
